Biography:
Jean Perreal was a very successful artist of his time, working for three French kings, Charles VIII, Louis XII, and Francis I. Very little of his work has survived but what remains mostly consists of illuminated manuscripts. Perreal is known for his elegant naturalism. He also visited Italy multiple times, meeting Leonardo da Vinci on one of his trips.
