Biography:
Gaspard Marsy trained with his father, and then left his hometown of Cambrai for Paris with his brother Balthazar in 1648. They worked closely together on commissions for the French royalty until Balthazar’s death in 1674. Afterwards, Gaspard worked on public commissions and also collaborated with Anselme Flamen.
