Biography:
Peter Blake was one of the leading figures in the development of Pop art. He incorporates imagery from modern culture into his work, including comic books, consumer goods, and advertisements. His most recognized work is the cover for The Beatles’s album, Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. He was a member of the painter’s group, the Brotherhood of Ruralists, which he co-founded in1975.
